Yep, this is just a car... Austin Power's car (well, one of them) to be precise. Part of a larger project I'm working on at the moment... hopefully someone should sit behind the wheel soon (if things go according to plan, that is). I haven't started shading yet, because I don't know how much shading I should go for - what do you think? I like this car just the way it is (well of course it's unfinished so the interior, tyres and stuff won't stay the way they are anyway), and would like to keep the picture as "60s-ish" as possible - hence the kinda "anime" look of it. Myyyy lines take FOREVER to render properly. Yes, it may or may not look like it, but I spent hours on this.
If you have any tips on how to cut and paste stuff, whether I should use layers or transparency or whatnot to paste things on this pic, please share. It's the first time I try that kind of technique, so yeah, I'm at a total loss!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is freakin' amazing!!! I love it the way it is and if a certain someone drives it that would be the icing on the cake. Let me know when this is finished so I can fave it!!!

WOW!! -squeees at all the fantastic colours-
I think what you're doing so far is GREAT; designs and colours and just everything! You totally took 3 hours on this.. I think it would have taken me a few days..
I'm reeeally sorry I have -no idea- of the appilcations of the program you're using. The only one I have is.. well, MS Paint. So far, the shading looks alright, and the effect you have posted on the windshield is ace.
I'll be on the watch for updates!

I think Ock saw it first... but, eh, maybe you can get both the car and the driver then? LOL!

Thanks muchly Er, why do you think I spent three hours on it? I spent more than that, oh yeah... frankly speaking, I'm not an artist AT ALL... so everytime I try and draw something, it takes me like forever... but hey, I do think I'm getting better and learning a lot... and, well... the most important aspect is that I'm having fun!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
